The best way to fully appreciate just how warm and welcoming our nursery is by coming along to have a look around.  Once inside you can fully appreciate the friendly atmosphere and environment  enjoyed by our children.

All of our rooms are bright and colourful with a comprehensive range of toys and activities to keep your child busy & happy.  Our staff are highly qualified, professional and friendly.

Working with Parents

Many of us involved in First Learning are parents and have faced exactly the same concerns and decisions with choosing the best childcare option.  It is therefore, of the utmost importance, to make not just your child, but YOU happy with choosing First Learning.  We are always happy to talk through any concerns or anxieties you may have (however trivial they may seem) and have an open door policy with our parents.

Settling In

Our first priority is to allocate both you and your child a ‘keycarer’- a member of our staff who will take prime responsibility for your child.  . This special member of staff will oversee the whole process of introducing your child into nursery life and liaise with you on a daily basis.  You will be updated on your child’s progress and made aware of how they have spent their day. During this settling in period we welcome you to attend our nursery sessions with your child, helping to prepare and adjust to their new surroundings.   Please rest assured that any religious beliefs, special dietary requirements and general family information will be acknowledged and respected.
